Eligibility:
1. Engineering and Electrical Branch: Male.
(a). Age. below 28 years olds as on 1st January 2024 (affidavits are not acceptable).
(b). Educational Qualification(minimum). From a reputed University recognized by Government should be passed B.Sc. Engineering from Neval Architecture/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Must have 4.50 both Secondary school certificate and higher Scholl certificate. Should have obtained minimum CGPA 3.00 Out of four in BSc Engineering.
(c). Marital Status: Single
2.Education Branch: Male and Female.
(a). Age. below 30 years olds as on 1st January 2024 (affidavits are not acceptable).
(b). Candidates must have minimum GPA 4 in both HSC and SSC examination and minimum CGPA. 3 Out of 4 in graduation examination from Government recognized university in the following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Law, Mass Communication and Journalism.
(c). In the case of legal candidates, preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in the legal profession along with the Bangladesh Bar Council's Advocateship Certificate.
(d). Marital Status: Single
3. Education Branch(Engineering): Male and Female.
(a). Age. below 30 years olds as on 1st January 2024 (affidavits are not acceptable).
(b). Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.50 in both HSC and SSC examination and minimum CGPA. 3 Out of 4 in graduation examination from Government recognized university in the following subjects: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science & Engineering.
(d). Marital Status: Single

Height:162.5 centimeter (5'-4").
Weight:50 kilogram
Chest Measurment: Normal-76 centimeter or 30 inch. Extended-81 centimeter or 32 inches.
Female: -
Height:157.48 centimeter (5'-2").
Weight:47 kilogram
Chest Measurment: Normal-71 centimeter or 28 inch. Extended-81 centimeter or 30 inches.
*Being overweight on the scale prescribed for armed forces according to height and age will be considered ineligible.
5. Nationality: Only Bangladeshi citizens.
6. Backward Seniority: Backward seniority will be granted as per prevailing rules of Bangladesh Navy.
7. Recruitment: After final nomination as a commission officer in the post of Sup Lieutenant for a period of five years short-term or permanent commission will be granted thereafter the service will be extended or permanent as per rules.
8.Disqualification: Dismissed from Army, Navy, Air Force or any Government service, twice skinned out or rejected by ISSB, but candidates who have been rejected twice before obtaining Graduate Master or Honors Degree are eligible to participate in ISSB subject. to completion of Graduate or master's degree after minimum five years. You will get chance for marriage formula.
Nomination Procedure:
9. Preliminary Health Examination and Preliminary Interview: Preliminary Health Examination and Preliminary Interview will be held from 15 to 20 July 2023 at Navy College Dhaka, Mirpur-14 Dhaka.
10. Written Test: Candidates found fit in preliminary health examination and preliminary interview will be held on 21st July 2023 for written test on Intelligence English General Knowledge and Achievement at Naval College Dhaka, Mirpur-14.
11. Test and Interview by ISSB: Candidates who pass the written test will be held at Dhaka Cantonment Dhaka after examination and interview by ISSB.
12. Final physical test: Candidates will have to participate in the final health examination during the ISSB examination.
13. Final nomination: Final nomination will be made through interview to be held at Naval Headquarters.
14. Pay and Allowances: The pay and/or they shall be entitled to as per the pay scale of the Armed Forces along with other benefits as may be prescribed by the Government.
